So one occasionally understands your enthusiasm when you send messages to the admins saying "please approve my friend Nigel Wigglebottom's (not his real name) membership request." But please know that we get 200-300 membership requests each *day*, and due to the pressing need for us to have time to sleep, eat, and do enough to put food on the table, we approve all membership requests in a single batch once a day. So if your friend's request hasn't got approved in the 59 seconds after he/she clicked "join", panic not. One of the admins will eventually get to it in the following 24 hours. (The exception usually is if you've been removed from the group for violating a group rule or not listening to an admin, in which case we may let you sweat it out a bit longer before letting you back in. But that's OK because you probably asked for it. :D ) Thank you for your patience and understanding.
